Guangdong Mobile Promotes Streaming Package

Guangdong Mobile has launched a new service for the Olympics, called Kaleidoscope, which includes multimedia content covering Olympic live broadcasts, TV, news, music, karaoke, share prices and information, e-books and English study. The package costs RMB 20 monthly, of which RMB 10 is an information fee, and offers 300 MB of bandwidth a month, allowing Internet use or up to 15 hours of TV viewing. Extra bandwidth will be charged at RMB 1 per MB.
