CCTV to Organize Olympic New Media Re-broadcasting Alliance

CCTV.com recently announced on its own website that in order to achieve the most extensive audience coverage, it will organize an Olympic New Media Re-broadcasting Alliance. It will license selected partners who have the capability both to protect the copyright and to re-broadcast well. Any company which can meet the following series of commitments can apply to be a CCTV.com partner:
The partner company can not use, in any form, Olympics-related logos, images and/or other combinations of logos; the company has no right to authorize, re-distribute or allow links to other companies / organizations; the company cannot edit, change, or replace the content, and must guarantee the completeness of the video content; the company cannot undertake any commercial development under the name of the Olympics, including (but not limited to) advertising and sponsorship; the company cannot feature advertisements in any form in the online media player (including webpage ads, link ads and all the other ad forms); the company cannot initiate / operate any paid interactive voting activities.
