Beijing Opens Copyright Trading Center

The Beijing International Copyright Trading Center has officially opened. Services provided include: the evaluation, registration and financing of copyrighted products; provision of information on copyright, the collection, querying, display and promotion of copyright products; copyright licensing, transfers, auctions and online ordering; copyright law consultation, mediation, legal representation, and the signing and implementation of copyright contracts. The center's website is at cnictc.com.

The center will focus on new sectors such as computer software, animation, online games, cartoon characters, SMS and ringback tones, as well as traditional copyright fields. The China Music Writers' Association and China Photographers' Association are partnered with the center.
