Zapak to Bring Shanda's Crazy Kart to India

Online game developer and operator Shanda (Nasdaq: SNDA) announced today that it has granted Indian Internet gaming company Zapak Digital Entertainment the exclusive rights to operate its online racing game Crazy Kart in India. Zapak is a part of the Reliance ADA Group, one of India's three largest privately held companies. Crazy Kart is currently undergoing closed beta testing in India and commercial operation is expected to commence the second quarter of 2008.

In 2008, Crazy Kart was recognized as the No. 1 casual game for teenagers by China's Ministry of Culture. Shanda also licenses Crazy Kart to operators in Hong Kong, Thailand and Vietnam.
