MII Building Website Profiling System

The Ministry of Information Industry (MII) is building a website profiling system which includes personal registration, IP address, domain name, hosting, and other website information, and can be used to rapidly obtain information on a website and its organization. There are 1.8 mln sites that have already been entered into the system. Approximately 2,000 new sites are registered daily and 70,000 sites were added in January 2008 alone. Implementing dynamic system management and real-time updates are the greatest challenges being faced during construction of the system.
