The South China Morning Post quoted an anonymous source Tuesday as saying that government officials will meet in Beijing this week to finalize plans for the telecom sector restructuring, with the focus on implementation and management of the changes. The final decision may be released this week or next month.
Last Friday it was reported that the State Council was meeting to confirm restructuring plans.
