Small Online Video Sites Start Selling Off

Zhang Fan, the chief technology officer at Shenzhen's largest online video site, Shidai Kairui Technology, has disclosed that there is news that several small video companies are being sold. "A number of mergers and acquisitions will probably be next and some businesses will be eliminated." The implementation of new online video regulations will force companies awaiting foreign investment or venture capital into an early crisis.

Zhang explained that the total number of people in the online video industry in the South China market is currently around 300-400 personnel and about 100-200 in Shenzhen.
