China Mobile Trials In-Movie Marketing

The first China Mobile (NYSE: CHL; 0941.HK) funded movie, Destiny Calls, has taken over RMB 35 mln at the box office. The movie cost RMB 18 to 20 mln to make. Although the distributor will retain all box office income, the movie features product placement for China Mobile's navigation, MMS, Fetion and wireless music services.
