According to an informed source, China Yahoo and Google China are in secret talks on cooperation.
The source said that talks are focusing on map-based services, but that this may expand to other fields. Google's map services may team up with Yahoo's 'Map Community', with the two parties hoping to use the other's product to complement their own. Industry insiders say the cooperation is aimed at attacking Baidu's dominant position, and that details of the cooperation will be released in January.
