Handset and component manufacturer Eyang Holdings (0117.HK), which was founded by former Konka (200016.SZ, 000016.SZ) president, Chen Weirong in 2001, has listed today on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange. Eyang's core business revolves around the research and development of multi-layer ceramic capacitors (MLCCs) and the EYCOM brand of mobile phones. Sales volume for its 0402 MLCC product exceeds 1 bln units.
Since it began producing EYCOM brand mobile phones in 2005, annual sales volume has exceeded 1 mln units, and this year it is expected to reach 2 mln units.
