CNET, 12/17/07
Google's (Nasdaq: GOOG) search navigation has been upgraded for the first time. A new 'site-finder' function has been launched and the 'related searches' and 'search suggestions' have been combined. Adverts are still not placed in search results.
The new 'site-finder' function allows user to enter a part of a site's URL, name or abbreviation and then be redirected to the site. It also has an error correction function and supports Chinese pinyin, English, pinyin abbreviations, mixtures of Chinese pinyin and Chinese characters and fuzzy pinyin.
