Foreign Ownership Limit in Basic Telecom Increased to 49%

December 11 marks the sixth anniversary of China's accession to the WTO - meaning that rules on foreign investment in basic telecommunications services are to be relaxed further. Foreign investors may now own up to 49% of providers of domestic and overseas services.
