Warner to Distribute Paramount and DreamWorks DVDs in China

Warner Home Video announced today at a press conference in Beijing that it has signed an agreement to distribute DVDs in China for Paramount and DreamWorks Animation. According to reports in the western media, titles will go on sale two months after their theater debut in the US, for a price of around US 3.

Among the first titles to be released under the new partnership will be "Shrek the Third" and "Transformers"

Select titles from the catalogs of Paramount and DreamWorks Animation will be distributed to more than 20,000 outlets in 50 cities throughout China through CAV Warner Home Entertainment, a joint entertainment distribution venture between Warner Home Video and China Audio Video.
