The payment platform has signed a rumored 10 authorized representatives in Shanghai, with figures in other cities unknown.
The partnership agreements strictly state that Alipay payment partners are not allowed to form other online to offline (O2O) payment agreements, namely partnerships with WeChat Pay, the embedded payment platform of Tencent's (0700.HK) WeChat mobile messaging app.
