WeChat Overseas User Base Reaches 40 Mln

During the 2013 annual conference of the Boao Forum for Asia in Hainan province today, Tencent (0700.HK) president Martin Lau said the internet and mobile services firm's WeChat mobile instant messaging platform now had 40 mln overseas users, and had become the top application in app stores in Indonesia, the Philippines, and Malaysia.
