TMall 3C, Appliance Transactions Up 200% YoY in H1 2012

Chinese B2C e-commerce platform TMall has announced that its consumer electronics and appliance channel saw transaction value exceed RMB 20 bln in H1 2012, up more than 200% YoY. Transaction value for Q2 2012 alone reached RMB 12 bln. Total 3C and appliance transaction value for the year is expected to exceed RMB 50 bln.
