Anhui Mobile Allows Users to Move Cities, Keep Number

Anhui Mobile has announced it will allow users to migrate their mobile accounts between cities within the province without needing to change phone numbers or SIM cards, so they may take advantage of local rates and packages. The service is available for China Mobile's (NYSE: CHL; 0941.HK) GoTone, M-Zone, and Shenzhouxing (EasyOwn) brands. According to an industry source, once the service has matured it will be progressively expanded nationwide.
