Sina Updates Real Estate Service

Online portal Sina (Nasdaq: SINA) launched version 2.0 of its "Fangyou Online" real estate platform (fy.dichan.com) today.

Fangyou Online GM Peng Jialiang said the platform allows for management of home listings and client listings – specifically, for home ad packaging, production, client resources, updates, and ad expansions. The system also offers a number of useful tools for brokers. The company has invested RMB 10 mln in assembling significant amounts of data, providing street photographs for 24 cities, videos for more than 20,000 residential complexes, development information for 21,000 homes, information for 50,000 residential complexes, and photographs for 400,000 listings. Registered brokers can set up online ‘storefronts' allowing online users to view listings on Sina or Fangyou Online 24 hours a day and take virtual tours of the houses through online video or photographs.

Fangyou Online incorporates Sina's second-hand home listings and has exclusive access to Sina's 240 mln registered users worldwide and more than 1 bln page views per day.
