Netease Tech, 12/24/12
According to a source within the company, Chinese mobile advertising optimization platform Mogo (adsmogo.com) has established a partnership with Hangzhou-based e-commerce company Alibaba Group's cloud computing subsidiary, Alibaba Cloud Computing ("AliCloud"), to provide developers with a turnkey mobile advertising solution. The platform is already online (www.aliyun.com/act/mobileapp.html) and will be officially released on December 28.
AliCloud and Mogo will establish account interoperability, and AliCloud will provide cloud computing services such as large-scale data storage, computing power, and API products, while Mogo will provide mobile advertising and marketing services for AliCloud-based mobile applications.
AliCloud launched a RMB 1 bln developers fund in October 2011, and has partnered with Japanese mobile gaming developer and operator DeNA and online community Chinese Software Developer Network (CSDN.net). Mogo's mobile advertising optimization platform is currently partnered with over 40 domestic mobile advertising platforms, displaying over 300 mln ads across more than 30,000 apps daily.
