Rumor: WineNice Completes Second-Round Funding

A recent photograph showing Lv Yide, CEO of wine and spirits B2C e-commerce site operator Beijing Jiumei E-Commerce (WineNice.com), with Roche Asia CEO Lu Hong has generated speculation that Jiumei has completed its recently announced second-round funding.

Jiumei PR spokesman Huang Jun confirmed that senior management at both companies have been in contact and discussed possible cooperation including possible funding, but declined to reveal any specifics. Huang added that Lv and Lu will hold a strategic development press conference on December 10.
