Rumor: Kaixin001 to Release Childcare Mobile App

Chinese social networking site Kaixin001 is reportedly on the verge of releasing a childcare mobile application aimed at new parents. The app not only allows parents to record all aspects of their child's growth, but also provides a variety of information and applications for childrearing. Kaixin001 is also reportedly planning to release other social apps targeting specific demographic segments.

Kaixin001 began corporate restructuring this year, transitioning towards mobile internet products and releasing a private social networking mobile app, Meike, similar to Path.
