Tencent, CNNIC's KNET Partner on Internet Security

Chinese internet giant Tencent's (0700.HK) QQ PC Manager has formed a strategic partnership with internet infrastructure service provider KNET, a subsidiary of the China Internet Network Information Center (CNNIC), to provide KNET anti-virus protection to its users. QQ PC Manager will utilize KNET's website database to provide website verification services. Tencent's Soso eDiantong browser search engine plugin for Internet Explorer already incorporates KNET verification. Soso eDiantong currently has over 10 mln users.
