A source inside Huawei has leaked information suggesting that the manufacturer is planning to lay off employees. Huawei has two plans at the moment: the first calls for layoffs of 5% of basic employees and 10% of management, with communications to be completed in January 2009; the second plan would be undertaken in March or April of 2009.
